Imperial Football Club Kyoto is the newest club in the IFA, an EPL-based fantasy soccer league on Chris Creamer's SportsLogos.net.
The crest features the Imperial Regalia of Japan, also known as the Three Sacred Treasures - the sword Kusanagi no Tsurugi, the mirror Yata no Kagami, and the jewel Yasakuni no Magatama. On top of the shield is a crown, further referencing the royal nature of the club. The colors of purple and gold carry an air of regality and success.
The 2023-24 kits are both inspired by Japanese aesthetics. The primary kit is white and features gold stripes moving throughout, a nod to kintsugi, the art of repairing pottery with gold leaf. Highlights of purple create a splash of color for a refined and eye-catching kit. The clash kit is electrified, using the four stripes from the crest on top of a Moonlit Purple base to create a neon kit that references all of Japan's iconic neon signage. A subtle glow on every element really sells the effect.
